ASK MANY people involved in tier five and I’m sure that most would choose this man as their standout star in that division this season.
The inaugural North Wales Coast West Division One season has thrown up some memorable moments and unveiled some new talents along the way too.
Llanerchymedd were crowned the first-ever champions of the division earlier this month, with Bethesda Athletic finishing as runners-up.
And it is a player of the latter club who I have selected as my official Division One Player of the Season for 21/22 – Joe Todd.

The attacking midfielder has been nothing short of sensational throughout what is his first campaign in North Wales.
The 23-year-old is original from Burton-on-Trent in the midlands, but moved up to Gwynedd with work in August 2020.
The former Rocester FC player previously told AFE that he moved up to Bethesda and quickly found out about the club he now represents in the process.
Todd has undoubtedly been the standout star in Division One, pulling the strings time and time again in the middle for Mark Hughes’ Pesda side.
At the end of an incredible individual campaign, he has scored 27 goals in just 21 appearances in the league.

One of his standout performances in the league came back in January when he netted four goals – including a stunning free-kick – in a 10-0 win away at Llangoed.
Other important moments included a brace as Bethesda fought back to draw 3-3 at Cemaes Bay and another brace in a big 4-2 win over Talysarn Celts.
All in all, Todd has scored 29 times in 26 matches in all competitions and has made playing the game look easy.
There are of course many who have stood out in the goalscoring department but when it comes to overall ability paired with that Todd is the best of the best in AFE’s opinion.
He still has a chance of glory with Bethesda Athletic in the Division One Cup yet also – as they take on Caergybi in the semi-finals of that competition on Wednesday night. Should they win that they will face league champions Llanerchymedd in the final.
Todd has certainly been a real driving force for Bethesda Athletic this season and a joy to watch in Division One.
Keep up the great work Joe!
