BODEDERN ATHLETIC are the very first team to win the North Wales Coast West Premier Division – and they are just one game away from going the whole season unbeaten.

Glantraeth’s 1-0 victory over Boded’s title rivals Bangor 1876 on Friday, April 29 meant that Boded had won the title with two league matches to spare ahead of their game against Gwalchmai the following day.

But, even with the pressure off on that Saturday afternoon, Ricky Williams’ side didn’t take their foot off the gas as they chase an ‘invincible’ campaign in tier four.

A 3-0 win over Gwalch means that should Boded avoid defeat v Bangor 1876 on Saturday, May 7, they will have gone the whole season without a defeat.

Captain Casey Boylan (27’) was on target first for abided on Saturday before Asa Thomas (38’) smashed in his 40th league goal of the season.

Top scorer Marc Evans completed the scoring on 72mins with his 60th goal of the season in all competitions.
