HAVING been a brilliant defender for Pentraeth at Welsh Alliance level previously, this man stepped in at Llanfair this season and instantly became a hit among the coaches and players there.
And that was evident in the fact that Williams was made captain for the 21/22 season.
Upon linking up with former Pentraeth team mate Gwyndaf Hughes, now manager at Llanfairpwll, the 25-year-old centre back has been nothing short of brilliant in the heart of Pwll’s defence so far.

Williams has played 18 of Pwll’s 20 matches this season and has been a big part of them moving up as high up as 4th in the table previously (they are now 6th).
The club captain has been solid throughout, is great in the air and his leadership qualities have shone through at the club too, with his manager keen to heap praise on to him.
Gwyndaf Hughes told AFEFootballNews that Williams has been ‘immense’ so far this season and it’s hard to disagree with that.
He certainly deserves recognition for his efforts.
