A PLAYER we have focused on many times already on the blog over the last few years and with good reason too.
1876’s squad is filled with a number of experienced heads, including the former Welsh Premier winning trio of Les Davies, Michael Johnston and Sion Edwards.
But the club is also home to a number of great up and coming stars too, like Barry.
After bursting onto the scene with 1876 in their Gwynedd League winning campaign of 2019/20, the now 18-year-old midfielder continued to catch the eye of many with some great performances in 2021.

Playing in his first season in men’s football aged 16 in 2019/20, Barry scored an impressive 10 goals and really looked the part in the middle of the park.
This season, he has already racked up 6 goals in 13 North Wales Coast West Premier, as well as a further 2 goals in the FAW Welsh Cup.
It already looks as though he will go on to beat his goal tally of the previous season with title-chasing 1876. A hat-trick in a 9-1 win at Gaerwen was the highlight of his 21/22 campaign so far.
Cameron, whose dad Nigel is a former Bangor City player and now a coach at 1876, is a player who looks for all the world like he could go on to play at a very high level in years to come.
