PICTURE BY RICHARD GREGSON shows O’Neill celebrating his goal v Holyhead Town.
THERE has been many promising young stars featured on this list so far and this guy is certainly one of the best around in his position.
At just 16 years of age, Connor O’Neill has stood out in North Wales Coast West Division One club Llangoed with performances far beyond his young years.
A tall and commanding centre half, he is brilliant in the air and has also played in midfield when needed too – both for the first team and for the reserves side.

He has played 14 of the first team’s 15 league matches to date and also put in a Man of the Match performance in 1 of the 2 appearances he’s made for the Reserves (in a 5-3 loss to Pwllheli).
O’Neill’s finest moment though came when he scored a great header in Llangoed’s first win of the season when they beat Holyhead Town 3-1 in July.
Should he continue in such great form and show such great attitude and desire, then make no mistake about it – O’Neill can go very far in the game.
He has all the attributes you could possibly want in a defender and is absolutely fearless for someone who is playing in their first season in senior football.
