ANOTHER one of the top up and coming young talents from North Wales Coast West Division One.
Talysarn Celts are flying in tier five, having picked up 34pts from their opening 15 matches of the 21/22 season.
20-year-old attacker Baum has been a big reason for that success to date.
He was key for the Celts in 2019/20 too. In a season cut short by the Coronavirus pandemic, Baum scored 12 times and picked up the club’s Young Player of the Season award for his efforts in the Gwynedd League.
And he’s certainly picked up where he’s left off that season in this one.
Baum began the 21/22 campaign by netting five goals in a 9-0 drubbing of Bodorgan and that kind of scintillating form has continued throughout.
He has so far netted 20 goals in just 17 matches for the Celts this season. 16 of those goals have come in 13 league appearances.
Among his most impressive performances, aside from that Bodorgan match, were a hat-trick against tie four side Mynydd Llandegai in the FAW Amateur Trophy and a 4-goal haul in the 7-0 win over Y Fali.
A very lively player who has proven that he can be a real game changer for his club.
