MANY people involved in local football are excited by this young man and rightly so as he is a serious talent.
Not many players could thrive in tier four aged just 16 years old but Owen is doing just that in the North Wales Coast West Premier this season.
Gwalch currently sit 11th in the tier four table, having won 3 of their 12 league matches to date. And whilst they haven’t exactly set the division alight with that record it’s young Owen who has really caught the eye for Peter Twigg’s side.

Owen began to shine brightly for his club in pre-season, scoring a few goals and proving that he may just be one to watch when the 21/22 season got underway.
The promising attacker’s first official goal for Gwalch came in a 5-2 FAW Amateur Trophy win at tier four strugglers Gaerwen.
A few weeks later, Owen was on target again, this time in the league in a 6-2 victory at home against Pentraeth.

All in all, in what is his first season in senior football, the tricky Owen has scored 6 goals in 16 appearances for Gwalch this season and has also provided two assists.
If you had to use a few words to describe Owen as a player, they would surely be; determined, fearless and gifted. He’s one for the future for sure.
