CLUBS all over North Wales are busy getting new faces to commit for the upcoming 21/22 campaign schedule to begin in July.
Tier five clubs, who will play in the North Wales Coast West Division One, have been very busy in terms of signings over the last few weeks.
Mountain Rangers have made a quality signing in the form of Mark ‘Bych’ Williams.
The experienced midfielder (below) was fantastic for Arriva Bangor during their 2018/19 Anglesey League season. That year, he captained the Busmen on several occasions, scored 15 goals and helped them onto winning the Benllech Car Boot Trophy.

Last with Bethesda Athletic in the Gwynedd League during 2019/20, Williams is a solid player in the middle who will be a fantastic addition to Alex Philp’s side who should be up there fighting for the title in tier five.
The 40-year-old made his debut for Rangers against former club Arriva in a 1-0 win at Cae’r Gors on Saturday and impressed greatly.
Llanfairpwll managers Vinny Walker and Spud Thomas have made some rest acquisitions to their side over the last week or two also.
The club enjoyed great success with a mostly young squad last season, finishing up fourth in a very competitive Anglesey League.
Pwll have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of striker Marquis Holland (below) from Aberffraw.

The 25-year-old striker joined Aberffraw last year but it was at Pentraeth in the Welsh Alliance where he had really proved what he could do over the last few seasons.
In 2019/20, he scored eight league goals for a struggling Pentraeth side and was one of their standout stars once more. His experience of playing at a higher level should come in handy for Pwll.
Also switching over to the club is fellow ex-Pentraeth man Dylan Williams (below) – a solid centre back who will fit in effortlessly at tier five level. In 2018/19, he was Players Player, Managers Player and Committee Player of the Season at Pentraeth and is a highly-reliable player.

Pwll have also announced the signings of Aled Davies, a hard-working full back who was superb for Llandegfan in 2019/20, and Dylan ‘Banks’ Williams who is a familiar face to many on the local football scene having been a great player for the likes of Llangoed over the years.
Bodorgan have also been bolstering their ranks over the past few weeks. The signing of Keenan Latham, who had impressed with Gaerwen in friendlies last year, is perhaps the most eye-catching of them all.

However, a number of other former Llangefni Town Reserves stars have also made the move across to Dave and John Webster’s side including John Alex Jones who will be another fine addition. Also signing for the club is former Cefni defender Matt Jones – a full back who impressed in the 2-1 defeat to Aberffraw on Saturday.
Last but not least to have been busy are Llangoed FC, who will have both a first team and a Reserves side playing in separate divisions this season. Three former Llandegfan FC players have joined former manager Arron Evans at Tyddyn Paun this week.
Ex-Llandeg captain and midfielder Kieran Fritter, previously with Arriva Bangor also, has made the switch over to the club as has pacy attacker Anthony Williams. Both starred in Llangoed’s 4-1 defeat to higher league opponents Bodedern Athletic on Friday night with Williams on the scoresheet on his debut.

Another one who featured in that match on Friday was the versatile Sammie Williams – who had scored two goals in three games for Llandeg in 2020. He can also play as a goalkeeper however as he previously showed at Arriva Bangor and Beaumaris Town.
Caergybi have continued to strengthen their already brilliant squad with the addition of Marc Thomas to their ranks.
The former Holyhead Town man is an experienced defender/midfielder who’s got a great cross on him and will never back down from a battle. He’ll be another huge boost to the title chasers managed by Dale Moffat.

Finally, as mentioned earlier this week, Paul Williams has made the switch from CPD Y Fali to Holyhead Town.
I backed the versatile and hard-working player to be a success for the Harbourmen and he already began to prove just that on Sunday when he scored in a 3-1 win over his former club Fali.
