AFEFootballNews’ Podcast – ‘Evans’ Eleven’ all set to launch!

WITH local football well and truly at a halt at this moment in time, and today’s announcement from First Minister Mark Drakeford offering little hope for even tier-two clubs’ supposed return to action next month, it’s hard to see light at the end of the tunnel for the game we love so much at this moment in time.

BUT, we will survive this somehow and will never take any football match for granted ever again in future I’m sure.

Whilst I will continue to bring you my North Wales Footballing Families and Anglesey/North Wales Footballing Greats series’ (and more) in the weeks to come, I have some more exciting news I would like to share with the followers of the blog tonight.

With having very little time to create YouTube videos as planned as of yet (due to my full time job as a newspaper journalist), I have decided to instead set up my very own podcast – ‘Evans’ Eleven – by AFEFootballNews’ following a lot of messages of support for it.

It seems a much simpler way of, as well as a more effective way of, being able to connect with my followers with a weekly round-up of all things Welsh football (and beyond).

In the podcast, I will talk about the ELEVEN things that have grabbed my attention throughout the week – from the JD Cymru Premier to the UEFA Champions League – and I’m hoping to have an episode out every Sunday for listeners.

In time, I hope it can develop into others joining me on the podcast to talk about football.

I am using the Anchor app to create the episodes, meaning that once they are published, they will become available in Spotify as well as other platforms.

Keep an eye out on my social media pages for the release of the first episode which I’m hoping can be published next week.
