A YOUNG star of the North Wales Women’s Football Leagues who was instrumental in helping Amlwch Town Ladies win the Division Two title come the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
Evans, who is just 17 years old, hit 14 goals in her first campaign with Mo Eynon and Charlotte Webb’s side – following on from the 18 goals she had scored for the formidable Bethel Ladies side the season before.
The rapid winger was a part of the Ynys Môn Women’s side who reached the final of the Island Games football tournament on home soil in the summer of 2019 and earned herself a silver medal for her efforts.
Evans, who has represented Wales at youth level, was a real standout in that Amlwch side last season and shared the Goal of the Season prize with team-mate Shannon Thomas come the end of the season also.
A player with bags of talent, and at such a young age, has so much more to give in seasons to come too as Amlwch prepare for life in the newly formed North Wales Women’s Football Premier Division when football resumes.
