ONE of the deadliest finishers around in North Wales women’s football by now and 2019/20 proved no different.
Maloney smashed in 21 goals and provided 3 assists in just 12 matches for Bethel Ladies adding to the 20 goals she scored and 9 assists she provided for team mates in 18 matches for the club the season before.
That meant the speedy winger was the leading goalscorer in both divisions of women’s football in North Wales and became Bethel Ladies’ all-time top goalscorer in the process.
Maloney, from Llandegfan on Anglesey, has progressed through the ranks at Bethel over the years and was also part of the Ynys Môn women’s team who achieved silver medals at the Island Games Football Tournament on home soil in the summer of 2019.
Despite her young age, she’s already considered one of the best players on the North Wales women’s footballing scene and will no doubt be looking to replicate her form of last season with Bethel who will take part in the newly-formed North Wales Women’s Football Premier Division when football resumes in future.
A key figure for Bethel who’s putting women’s football on the map in North Wales with her standout performances.
