A PLAYER who only joined Colwyn Bay in January 2020 but still made it into the JD Cymru North Team of the Season following his performances for both Rhyl and Colwyn Bay during the campaign.
A product of the Bangor City academy, Owen is a versatile player who was mainly deployed as a full-back for the Seagulls last season.
The 22-year-old, who lives in Deiniolen, previously represented Llandudno and Caernarfon Town and has always impressed no matter where he’s gone with his great work rate. He was Supporters Player of the Season for the Cofis in 2018/19.
With the Bay, Owen proved to be a key player for the club as they secured a top four finish. He has now returned to the club once more following another short spell with Caernarfon in the top-flight, where he made one appearance this season.
Having made his senior debut for Bangor City at the age of just 16, he’s now a player who, at 22 years old, still has a lot to give on the North Wales football scene.
