COLWYN BAY enjoyed a great return to the Welsh pyramid system in 2019/20, finishing in the top four in the JD Cymru North table.
Central midfielder and then-club captain McCready proved to be not only one of their best players but also one of the league’s itself with some stunning performances throughout the campaign.
The 29-year-old is a composed figure and a great passer of the ball who really impressed as the Seagulls surprised many by achieving such a high finish on their return to Welsh football following a three-decade absence.
A former Chester, Exeter City and AFC Fylde player, McCready lead the team well and dominated the midfield on a number of occasions as Craig Hogg’s side claimed many a scalp in the JD Cymru North.
A fantastic player and leader, McCready recently departed the club to join Runcorn Linnets, with a view to playing more regular football given Wales’ current lockdown restrictions forcing play to come to a halt. However, earlier this month, he re-joined the Bay for whom he has has so far scored 23 goals in 81 appearances.
