ONE of Conwy/Denbighshire’s finest goal scorers over the last few seasons.
Prolific forward Griffiths, who previously played for Prestatyn Town and Meliden, was Kinmel Bay’s top scorer come the end of the 2019/20 season as the club finished eighth in Welsh Alliance Two.
The 21 goals he scored in all competitions placed him as one of the highest-scoring players in the division also.
One of the particular highlights for both himself and the club was when his brace secured an impressive 2-1 win at Gwalchmai in January 2020. Another was when he bagged five goals in a 7-1 win over Amlwch Town in September 2019.
Griffiths has really built a reputation for himself over the years, particularly during his time with Meliden FC in which he scored 38 times to finish as WA2 top scorer in 2017/18 – becoming the first ever Meliden player to notch more than 30 goals in a season.
A great finisher who scored 18 of his side’s 45 league goals in WA2 last season (plus another three in cup competitions).
