A GOALKEEPER who’s been one of the best around in North Wales’ lower leagues over the last few seasons.
Having been a big part of Caergybi, formed in the Anglesey League in 2017, Weeks’ finest season to date arguably came in 2018/19.
That year, the shot-stopper was in superb from, saving numerous penalties and putting in several Man of the Match performances for Dale Moffat’s side.
That included saving four penalties in the Lucas Oil Cup final v Bryngwran (now Trearddur Bay) Bulls – a game they won 3-1 on pens after a 0-0 draw. That was Weeks’ third piece of silverware in two seasons with the club and a promotion to the Gwynedd League was the icing on the cake for the player and the club.
Last season, as Cybi got used to life in the GL, weeks was pivotal again and continued to establish himself as one of Anglesey’s best goalkeepers.
After briefly signing for Gwalchmai over the summer, he’s now back with Caergybi again ahead of a season hopefully starting some time soon.
