IT’S hard to believe that this guy is still only 23 as it feels like he’s been banging the goals in for years now.
‘Prolific’ would almost be an understatement when describing Parry over the years he’s played senior football. Thats because the forward has racked up more than 220 goals in around 300 appearances to date.
At Llanystumdwy, he’s a club legend. He finished as the Gwynedd League’s top scorer four seasons in a row whilst with them – enjoying two incredible seasons in particular; hitting 45 goals in just 56 league games in 2014/15 and then 60 goals in 2017/18. His record at Stumdwy as he left at the end of that season stood at 210 goals in 170 appearances.
In 2018/19, he was a vital component within the Porthmadog Reserves side which went a whole season unbeaten in their league and cup competitions. Parry scored 49 goals for Sion Eifion Jones’ side that year, as well as a further two goals for Port’s first team.
Last season saw the goal machine move from Port to Gwynedd League side Bangor 1876 and it didn’t take long for him to make an impact. Despite only joining in January, he hit nine goals in all competitions before the season ended abruptly in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
An unbelievable talent, Parry has now joined Nantlle Vale ahead of next season, where he will again play under his former manager Sion Eifion Jones.
