PICTURE by Paul Scholes shows Thomas winning the Junior Cup with Bro Goronwy.
WINGER who made the double step up from the Gwynedd League to Welsh Alliance One last season and impressed.
In the seasons leading up to the last one, Thomas had been a standout star at GL club Bro Goronwy, catching the eye with his pace and directness from out wide.
2018/19 was a particularly memorable season for the player as he bagged 12 goals in 28 league matches and scored a fantastic goal in the club’s 3-1 NWCFA Junior Cup final win over Bryngwran (now Trearddur Bay) Bulls.
During his time at Bro (since 2015), Thomas hit 38 goals in 115 Gwynedd League games (stats from Bro Goronwy’s website).
His brilliant performances at Cae Nerys caught the eye of Boded manager Ricky Williams who swooped in to sign the player in the summer of 2019.
And Thomas would go on to continue to impress for the Green and White Army in Welsh Alliance One. The 22-year-old scored four goals in his debut campaign for the club and continued to prove how good of a player he is.
He’s a tricky winger with plenty of potential and I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot more about him in seasons to come.
