A BRILLIANT attacking threat who returned to a Fali (Valley) side that he had been such a big part of in the past.
Sillence, who can play down the middle or out wide, was a part of the club’s Anglesey League winning side of 2014/15, in a side which also included the likes of Casey Boylan and Shaun Jenkins (now both at Bodedern Athletic).
Further success followed for the player upon moving to Bryngwran (now Trearddur Bay) Bulls as he won several three cups and of course the Anglesey League in 2019/20 in what was a historic season for Richard Owen’s side.
Last season saw the pacy attacker return to Cae Mwd in the first half of the season. And it was a successful move for Sillence, as he bagged eight goals before going on to join the marines.
He signed for the Bulls, now in the Gwynedd League in January, but the Coronavirus pandemic brought the season to an early end.
A quick and aggressive forward who’s great at creating chances as well as taking them, he’s been a great asset at Fali and the Bulls over the years. Now back at Trearddur Bay Bulls for next season.
