A PLAYER who returned from a long-term injury and made an instant impact for Tom Scott’s Hotspur Reserves side.
Williams was one of the far more experienced stars in what was an otherwise very young, but nevertheless talented, Hotspur second string which finished third in the Anglesey League.
The forward returned to action with a perfect hat-trick (left foot, right foot, header) in an 8-1 demolition of Llandegfan before going on to score ten more goals in all competitions throughout the course of the season.
Williams, who has been so influential to Hotspur’s first team over the years also, has now moved on to Cymru North (second tier) side Llangefni Town, where he has already been an important figure. He recently scored in the club’s Nathaniel MG Cup win over Llanrhaeadr.
