A TOP young talent for the Celts who was superb for the club in the Gwynedd League last season.
Rhys Jones’ side finished in fifth place come the end of the season in what was a very tough 15 team league. The likes of Luke Baum, who finished as one of the club’s top scorers, were vital throughout.
His first goal of the season came in a 5-3 win over Ogwen Tigers and that was followed up by a brace and a Man of the Match performance in the 4-1 win over Llanystumdwy. During the course of the season, Baum would go on to hit a further nine goal in all competitions – including one in a thrilling 5-3 win over local rivals and Anglesey League runners-up Mountain Rangers.
And those kind of performances earned him the club’s Young Player of the Season prize too. Certainly a talent!
