AFE’s Stars of the 2019/20 season: Tom Hadley (Trearddur Bay Bulls/Holyhead Town)

A PLAYER who first burst onto the scene as Holyhead Town won the Anglesey League back in 2016/17.

That year, the lovely forward hit 31 goals as the Harbourmen earns promotion to the Gwynedd League.

Other commitments kept Hadley away from the game for a good season or two but he returned to action last year with Trearddur Bay Bulls in the Gwynedd League and it was as if he’d never been away.

He scored 13 goals as the Bulls stampeded their way to the top of the division they had just been promoted to early on before Bangor 1876 caught up and went onto win the title.

Nevertheless, Hadley’s contribution was an important one for the club as they secured a top four finish. The forward then returned to Holyhead Town in the Anglesey League in the latter half of the season, where he netted once before the season was called off.

He has now signed with Dale Moffat’s Caergybi side who will be playing in North Wales Coast West Division One (aka tier five) next season.
