ONE of the unsung heroes of the Gwynedd League last season, Parry was one of the league’s top scorers.
Down the years, Stumdwy have had some great goalscorers – including Sion Parry (who was with Bangor 1876 last season), who previously finished as the Gwynedd League’s top scorer four seasons in a row. Parry was particularly brilliant in 2014/15, when he managed 45 league goals and 56 in all competitions.
Their current goalscoring hero is former Harlech Town player and another Parry – Darren – who was just as prolific for the now defunct Castlemen back in the day.
Last season, the talented forward netted 16 goals in all competitions for a Llanystumdwy side that ended up 13th in the Gwynedd League as the 2019/20 campaign came to an abrupt end due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
