A FANTASTIC young goalkeeper who burst onto the scene with Tigers last season alongside brother Leon.
In their opening match of the campaign in which they faced eventual Gwynedd League champions Bangor 1876.
The then 16-year-old was also an under 18’s player for Llangoed but was, I believe, playing his first season of senior football last year – not that you could tell!
Owen, who recently signed for Hugo Colace’s Bangor City following a promising season, is one of the best young prospects around at this moment in time and looks like he could go on to big things at Nantporth and beyond.
With top reflexes and maturity beyond his years, who knows what he could achieve in years to come, but the future certainly looks bright and I look forward to seeing him progress with the Cymru North outfit.
