I TRY to be as unbiased as possible on the blog, what with me being manager of Llandegfan FC, but I have to give this particular player a mention following the 2019/20 season.
After joining Llandeg in the summer of 2019, Geth Grffith would go on to become a huge part of our team in the season that followed and was both the Players Player and Managers Player of the season once the season came to an abrupt end following the Coronavirus pandemic.
That tells you everything you need to know about the 21-year-old who, although he is mainly a centre back, also played as a full back, centre mid and several times as a goalkeeper, where he was also great in the absence of Duane Hunt through injury.
Calm on the ball and great in the air, Griffith brought an air of confidence to a Llandeg side who went on to win their first match in two-and-a-half years last season. He’s also a great character to have in training and in the changing rooms and is always providing the laughs.
