THE top scorer in Welsh Alliance One for 2019/20 was in terrific form throughout the season.
Former Llannefydd and St Asaph City forward Walker was a real standout for Denbigh who finished as the leagues runners-up behind Holyhead Hotspur.
The 27-year-old hit 23 goals in the league and 35 in total for Town in a true season to remember on a personal level. Llanrwst’s Callum Parry, also hit 23 in WA1 but departed for Cymru North side Colwyn Bay mid-season so that left Walker as the active top scorer for the division.
Since joining Denbigh, Walker has formed a great partnership with fellow forward and club captain Mark Roberts – who himself hit 13 goals in 2019/20.
